CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pickup losing control is being blamed for causing a crash that killed a woman on Cajon Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the incident of a single vehicle crash. The vehicle involved in the crash was a report of a red Ford F-150 that lost control and went down about 80 feet down the embankment. The crash was reported about 2:46pm, Tuesday June 29, 2021. The accident was reported on Cajon Blvd near Oakie Flat Rd.
For reasons still under investigation, the female driver was driving south on Cajon Blvd. According to the CHP traffic log she was passing a county work truck with cones out on the roadway. When she lost control of the Ford, which veered off the right side of the road, went down the embankment into the heavy brush. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Inland Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
