Amber Alert Issued For 2-Year-Old Boy Abducted By Father In Riverside County

LAKE ELSINORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> An Amber Alert was issued Monday afternoon after a 2-year-old boy was allegedly abducted by his own father in Riverside County.

The boy, Celestine Stoot Jr. III, a two year old black male weighing about 20 pound with black hair and brown eyes was last seen some time on Sunday in Lake Elsinore. The CHP says the suspect, Celestine Stoot Jr, is believed to be driving a silver 2020 Kia Optima with the California license plate number 8VQU461, or the vehicle may also have a temporary dealer plate number U335133.

The suspect is described as a 42-year-old black male, 5’8″ and weighing 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Authorities said he should be considered armed and dangerous. If seen, contact the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department at 951-245-3300 or 911.

Update A spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Department said the father has been identified as the suspect in the homicide of 43-year-old Natasha Denise Barlow, the mother of the missing boy.

Authorities discovered Barlow’s body inside a home in Lake Elsinore around 4 p.m. Monday. Stoot Jr. is believed to be Barlow’s boyfriend. Details were not released on the cause of Barlow’s death, and there was no mention of a possible motive.

Final update the 2-year-old boy has been found, and the 42-year-old man is in custody in Las Vegas following an Amber Alert.
