SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> An Amber Alert was issued Thursday morning for a 15-year-old girl who authorities say was taken against her will by a 20-year-old male suspect.
The California Highway Patrol says Ionita Cimino allegedly abducted Georgiana Bambaloi from Santa Rosa on Wednesday, but the two could be headed down to Southern California.
The Santa Rosa Police Department says the alleged abduction occurred at a gas station and do not believe she left voluntarily. Investigators says Bambaloi was grabbed by a man in an orange shirt and was forced into a car that took off from the scene.
It’s unclear if the suspect and Bambaloi know each other.
Cimino was last seen driving a green 2007 Chrysler Town & Country minivan with a Texas paper plate 12478U3.
Bambaloi is believed to wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans with a red and green cherry pattern. the suspect is believed to be wearing an orange long sleeve shirt and black pants.
Authorities said he should be considered armed and dangerous. If seen, contact 911.
Update at 10:35am she has been found safe.
