HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person was taken to a local hospital after a three-vehicle collision Saturday afternoon on northbound Interstate 15 in Hesperia.
The crash happened at about 3:49pm Saturday January 22, 2022. The location was on northbound Interstate 15 just before the Bear Valley Road off ramp. California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving three vehicles, a black Honda Civic with heavy damage due to hitting the guardrail, a red Ford Explorer, and a gold color SUV.
One person from the Honda was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of possible injuries. No other injuries were reported at the scene.
CHP temporarily blocked all lanes to remove the vehicles and debris out of the traffic lanes. They opened lanes up slowly at 4pm and traffic was backed up at Main Street in Hesperia.
CHP Victorville Office is investigating what caused the collision. Additional details were limited at this time
