44-Year-Old Pomona Man ID’d In Fatal Rollover Crash On The 210 Freeway

UPLAND, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A 44-year-old Pomona man killed in a rollover crash Tuesday morning on the 210 freeway.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to the scene at about 1:08am Tuesday, February 8, 2022. The crash was located on the eastbound side of the 210 freeway near the Mountain Avenue onramp. From reports Anthony Drapeau, age 44, a resident of Pomona driving a sliver Mazda 3 sedan was reported to be in the carpool lane when the vehicle veered to the right. Drapeau hit the dirt embankment and the vehicle rolled-over multiple times landing in the slow lane. Drapeau was ejected from the vehicle.

CHP and firefighters rendered aid to Drapeau. With life saving measure he was deceased at the scene.

No further details have been provided at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Rancho Cucamonga Office.
