The change will happen on Sunday morning at 2am, while most of us are asleep you might need to set your clocks forward one hour before going to bed on Saturday night. Also its time to check thing around your vehicle to make sure its safe on the road.

Get plenty of sleep leading up to the start of daylight saving. And if you can, go to bed an hour earlier tonight.

Things to check or change:

• Remember to set your clocks forward one hour in your house.

• Check and test your batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

• Inspect your headlights, turn signals, brake lights and taillights to make sure they are working properly. So you are safe on the freeway.

• Check your tires air pressure and tire wear.

• Change you clock in your vehicle. If you remember how too.

• Be sure to check your emergency kit too for any food or water that might be near expiration.

• Check for recalls on your vehicle is easier than you think. Enter your vehicles VIN number at NHTSA recalls site or checktoprotect.org to see if your vehicle has a open recall.
