Starlink Satellite Will Be Flying Across Southern California Tonight

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) << Saturday night April 23, 2022, around 8:41pm ends about for 5 minutes. Look from NORTHWEST to the EAST direction in the high desert area and Inland Empire Valley look NORTHWEST to SOUTHWEST direction. SpaceX Starlink G4-14 constellation launched a couple days ago is the newest one will fly overhead. Unlike the last chances, these satellites will be crossing during the dead of night, when the sunlight will not affect them so this should not be hard to see them.

These ‘lights’ satellites will be traveling one by one like in formation line like UFO’s or may look like a train of lights in the sky. The satellites travel close together for the first few days after launch.

Tonight weather will be clear skies.

The satellites caused the same kind of excited in different cities and times. If you missed the light show, you may get another chance. The satellites could be visible once again Sunday night at around 8:51pm., according to findstarlink.com. That’s in the Inland Empire area however, so are sure to be same time in the high deserts, low deserts, and the mountains.

Space X’s 10th Starlink mission this year. The goal for Space X is for 1,600 total satellites to orbit, creating a worldwide high-speed internet service, including to underserved parts of the planet. Astronomers have raised concerns about the satellites, since they may affect stargazing in the future.
