Two Vehicle Crash On Northbound I-15 In Hesperia May Have Started By A Driver Falling Asleep

HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 15 may have been cause a driver to be overly tired or fell asleep behind the wheel.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a crash. It was reported on northbound Interstate 15 between Ranchero Road and Highway 395 exits. The crash happened at about 3:51pm Tuesday January 10, 2023.

From reports from the CHP traffic log, the vehicle involved in the crash was a white Toyota Camry with heavy front-end damage and passenger side damage. The second vehicle was a blue Nissan Hardbody pickup truck with front-end damage. No injuries were reported at the scene.

It was reported by a witness stated one of the drivers fell asleep. Traffic was backup for several mile due to the cleanup.
