The brush fire, dubbed the “Little Mountain Fire”, was reported Wednesday afternoon aound 2pm January 15, 2025, near Little Mountain Drive and W. Edgehill Road.
Shorlty after 3:40pm, San Berardino County Fire announced that the forward rate of spread of the fire had been stopped at estimated to be at 34 acres.
Structures were not immediately threatened, but authorities said there was fuel for a possible rapid rate of spread.
There were no reports of damage or reported injuries, the cause of the fire was under investigation as crews were on scene to mop up the fire.
Update, San Bernardino Police has arrested a man for arson relating to today’s brush fire.
Crews will be on scene for several hours to ensure complete mop up.
