CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The tail end of the Atmospheric River going to hit Southern California on late Tuesday into Wednesday. Then a little bit cooler storm going to hit Thursday night into Friday. This will or could impact you at home or driving to work. You will, or may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rain showers, and snow showers at times for the next 3 days.
The Southern California Weather Force has posted the timing of the storm for the Inland Empire, Cajon Pass, mountains area. and the high desert. Rain showers will dissipate further south you go in SoCal.

Timing for Inland Empire/Cajon Pass. Rain showers could start around 1am-4am Wednesday morning then on Thursday night into Friday. This will bring fog and rain showers in the Cajon Pass. The Cajon Pass/foothills could get about a inch to 3 inches of rain total. The Inland Empire Valley Cities could get about a ½ of inch to a inch of rain total, each cities will vary how much rain. There no chance of snow at the top of the Cajon Pass with this storm or the 2nd one.
Timing of the storm for the High Desert. The rain showers could start around 2am-6am of the high desert cities. Scattered rain showers all day Wednesday and Friday. Each cities will vary how much rain or no rain. High desert cities could get about a trace to a ½ inch of rain total.
Timing of the storm for Wrightwood Mountains. Rainsnow showers could start around 2am-6am Wenesday then on Friday morning. Snow level will be high at 8,000 ft. on Wednesday then around 6,000ft. on Friday. Wrightwood could get about a inch to 2 inches of rain total. Snow total could be one inch to 3 inches of snow.
If you travel through the Cajon Pass or on Interstate 15 expect traffic due to the weather condition that can change quickly. Remember to SLOW DOWN in the rain or in foggy conditions. Head lights on when your wipers are on.
