ADELANTO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A head-on vehicle crash on El Mirage Road has left three people dead and three others in critical condition Friday morning.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a traffic collision on El Mirage Road near Koala Road in Adelanto. A red Honda Civic was travelling eastbound on El Mirage Road at an unknown rate of speed. A gray Chevrolet Tahoe was travelling westbound on El Mirage Road at an unknown rate of speed.
The driver of the Honda Civic crossed over the double-yellow divider line, colliding head on into the Chevrolet Tahoe.
The driver of the Honda, the only person in the car and the driver and a passenger in the Chevrolet Tahoe, were all pronounced deceased on the scene.
Three other passengers in the Chevrolet Tahoe were transported to local hospitals.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identities of three individuals who lost their lives in a head-on traffic collision. Rogelio Hernandez, 44, and Jamie Hernandez, 41, both residents of Adelanto, were identified as the driver and passenger in the Chevrolet Tahoe.
The driver of the Honda Civic, has been identified as 20-year-old Jose Silva, a resident of Palmdale.
