PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A single-vehicle crash involving a scooter shut down one lane of Phelan Road in Wednesday evening. (Photo above is credit by Justin Marble)
The crash happened around 5:21pm March 26, 2025, when a gold-colored scooter traveling on Phelan Road near Burbank Rd. lost control and crash in traffic lanes.
California Highway Patrol San Bernardino County Fire responded to the crash.
The rider was thrown from the scooter and was lying on the pavement.
Firefighters rendered aid to the injured rider. Then they requested a helicopter to transport.
The rider was airlifted by a medical helicopter due to medical needs determined by rescue personnel on scene. Mercy Air #22 airlifted the rider to Antelope Valley Medical Center with serious injuries.
