CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A burning trailer or RV sparked a small brush fire Wednesday evening in the the Cajon Pass off of Cajon Boulevard/old Route 66.
The fire was reported around 7:52pm alongside of the train tracks, south of Cajon Boulevard by Keenbrook Road, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic log. No other structures were threatened and the fire crews stopped its forward spread at 8:30pm.
Witness stated hearing loud explosions and seeing fireworks going off from the trailer. Fire crews will be at scene for at least one to two hours to create a barrier between the burned and unburned brush and to make sure all embers and hot spots are completely out. Fire crews said about two acres burned.
The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
