Multiple Vehicle Crash Caused Major Delays This Morning In The Cajon Pass

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) — An early morning three vehicle crash on the southbound I-15 in the Cajon Pass is the cause of major traffic delays for motorists on Tuesday.

California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department were getting calls of a three vehicle crash with an additional unknown vehicle that was reported to be speeding and driving reckless prior to the crash. The vehicles involved were reported to be a black Dodge Charger that had rear-end damage by an unknown sedan, the other two vehicles were reported to be a black Dodge Journey and a gray Honda Accord with damage to their vehicles. The crash was located just about a half mile before the truck escape ramp blocking the fast lane, about 4:29am on June 1st, 2021.

One male adult was injured and was transported by ground ambulance to Desert Valley Hospital for minor injuries.

This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
