BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The trailer of a big rig burned to the ground near the town of Baker, on southbound Interstate 15 Tuesday morning.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were getting calls of a big rig trailer on fire just before 11:15am, Tuesday on June 15, 2021. The big rig stop on the right shoulder of the freeway about 15 miles away from the town of Baker.
According to the CHP traffic logs, the fire was coming from the rear breaks on the big rig trailer were on fire. The driver did escape the big rig before it became fully engulfed, also the driver was able to release the semi from the trailer. The cause of the big rig fire is unknown at this time. From reports the trailer was full of eggs.
