VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two-vehicle collision that resulted in sending both off the freeway into the dirt embankment.
California Highway Patrol and Victorville Fire Department responded to the incident. The crash happened Saturday morning on northbound Interstate 15 just before the D Street off ramp. One of the vehicles overturned, the driver was trapped and had to be freed by CHP, good Samaritans and firefighters. The vehicles involved in the crash were a black unknown vehicle and a work van, maybe a Dodge RAM ProMaster on its side. The crash was reported about 8:52am, Saturday June 26, 2021. Northbound Interstate 15, D Street off ramp. Everybody was able to get out and were not injured in the crash, just bumps and bruises.
It is unknown what caused the unknown vehicle and the work van to lose control and hit the embankment and the guardrail off of the right shoulder. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
