No Bull; CHP Temporarily Closed NB I-15 In Rancho Cucamonga Due To A Bull Wandering On The Freeway

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A bull on the loose briefly shut down Interstate 15 Wednesday night, to corral the animal off of the freeway.

The bull was first reported about 7:35pm Wednesday August 11, 2021, on the northbound 15 near Foothill Blvd. and Base Line Road exits. From a witness the bull was feeding on grass off the side of the freeway then wandered on the freeway. That’s when California Highway Patrol made efforts to corral the animal off to the shoulder of the freeway.

It was reported the bull somehow escaped from the moving trailer on northbound Interstate 15. The bulls owner arrived back to the scene. Minutes later the owner was able to load the bull back into the trailer without incident. Traffic lanes were reopened about 8:40pm.
