Woman Killed After A Rollover Crash Off Of Northbound I-15

MOUNTAIN PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A Las Vegas woman was killed in a solo vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 15 just after Cima Road exit.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash that was reported about 5:39am, Wednesday morning on October 13, 2021. CHP officers located a 2003 Ford Mustang on its roof in the center dirt median.

According to a CHP Press Release, for unknown reasons, the 59-year-old female driver allowed her Mustang to veer off the freeway into the center median and overturned. Emergency crew arrived on scene and pronounced the female driver deceased at the scene.

This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Office. Additional details were limited. They said drugs or alcohol were not contributed factor in the crash.  A CHP spokesman described her as a 59-year-old Las Vegas resident. Her name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
