CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A three vehicle car crash on Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass with one of the vehicles bursting into flames Saturday morning.
The California Highway Patrol, and San Bernardino County Fire Department said they got calls around 4:42am December 4, 2021. Calls reporting of a crash with three vehicles and one of them on fire. The crash location was on northbound Interstate 15 about a half of mile after the Highway 138 exit.
From what the CHP traffic log stated, the unknown sedan had lost control and may have hit the guardrail and was struck by another sedan in the fast lane. This resulted in the sliver Toyota Camry to became fully engulfed in flames. The only vehicle description of the three vehicles was the sliver Toyota Camry that became fully engulfed in flames. Three people were reported to have minor injuries.
Firefighters worked quickly to knock down the vehicle fire. CHP issued the #1 and #2 lanes to be closed. The incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office. CHP said additional information will be updated as it becomes available. Additional details were limited at this time.
