Slick Roads Cause Pickup Truck Pulling Horse Trailer To Jackknife In The Cajon Pass Thursday Morning

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pickup truck pulling a horse trailer caused traffic delays Thursday on Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass.

The Crash happened at 4:38am Thursday December 9, 2021. It was about two miles before Oak Hills Road exit on Interstate 15. According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of an Ford F-250 pickup truck was pulling a horse trailer up the Cajon Pass. The freeway was slick causing the pickup truck and the trailer to jackknife. The truck and trailer came to rest in the center divider next to the embankment blocking the fast lane and the #2 lane. Traffic was backedup all the way to Highway 138. There were no injuries reported.

This crash is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Station. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available. Please check back for updates on this incident.
