CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pickup truck traveling southbound on Interstate 15 flipped over the center divider and landed on the northbound side in the Cajon Pass impacting traffic both directions for hours, according to authorities.
The crash happened at about 3:50pm Saturday January 29, 2022. The location of the collision was on southbound Interstate 15 between Highway 138 and the Cleghorn Road exit. California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving three vehicles, a white SUV, a sliver Chevy Cavalier sedan and a black Ford F150 that went over the center divider.
No injuries were reported at the scene. CHP temporarily blocked both fast lanes on both sides of the 15 freeway to remove the vehicles and debris out of the traffic lanes. They opened lanes backup after 5pm and traffic was backed up at Oak Hill Road on the southbound side and northbound was backed up to the 15/215 split.
