VICTORVILLE, CA (Pain In The Pass) >> An Apple Valley man, who was driving a sliver Ford Ranger pickup truck, rolled over on northbound Interstate 15, authorities said Saturday.
California Highway Patrol and Victorville Fire Department received calls for a single vehicle rollover crash. The vehicle was a sliver Ford Ranger pickup truck that rolled-over multiple times. The vehicle landed on it side near the center divider of northbound Interstate 15 just before La Mesa/Nisqualli Road exit. The crash happened at about 7:06pm on Friday April 15, 2022.
When CHP and firefighters responded to the scene, they located the driver that had been ejected from the vehicle. Firefighters also requested a medical helicopter to transport to a local trauma hospital. The helicopter was called off. He was pronounced deceased less than a hour later at Desert Valley Hospital.
The driver has been ID’d as Anthony Robert Rodriguez, a 31 year old resident of Apple Valley.
There are no other details released at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
