Pick-up Truck Pulling Travel Trailer Jack-knifes On I-15 Causes A Traffic Mess Saturday Morning

SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One lanes of northbound Interstate 15 are reopened after a RV travel trailer crashed before Glen Helen Parkway.

California Highway Patrol were getting calls of a red Chevrolet Silverado pulling a Airstream travel trailer that overturned. The crash took place Saturday morning July 16, 2022 at about 6:42am, about half mile before Glen Helen Pkwy exit on northbound I-15. The trailer flipped over on its side and landed blocking the fast lane.

The driver was able to exit the truck and was not injured according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Log. For reasons still under investigation, the truck and trailer lost control, and the trailer rolled over. They were the only vehicle involved in the crash. The incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
