VICTORVILLE, CA (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Interstate 15 Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened about 4:22pm on July 20, 2022 on northbound I-15 under the Roy Rogers Drive bridge. According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic log, the pedestrian was walking in the traffic lanes. Seconds later a passing vehicle hit the pedestrian. When CHP arrived on the scene, they found a pedestrian that was hit and found in serious condition in the right shoulder of the freeway.
Victorville firefighters rendered aid and transported the pedestrian by ground ambulance to Victor Valley Global Medical Center. Rescue crews requested a medical helicopters to transport from the hospital to a local trauma center.
Mercy Air helicopter #66 airlifted pedestrian to Loma Linda Medical Center in serious condition.
