MOUNTAIN PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two-vehicle crash along Interstate 15 sent two people airlifted to the hospital Thursday evening.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving a red Dodge Challenger and a black Volvo possibly a semi according to the CHP traffic log. The crash took place at about 5:52pm August 19, 2022 about 5 miles after Cima Road in the center divider from the northbound lanes.
Rescue crews requested two medical helicopters to transport two victims and one ambulance. One was transported by Mercy Air #7 and the other was Mercy Air #21 at the scene. Both were flown to Las Vegas University Medical Center in unknown conditions. The One person was transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital.
