PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Male driver injured when he hit the back of semi and rolled over on Highway 138 Friday morning.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving two vehicles. The crash took place at about 11am September 2, 2022. The collision was located on Highway 138 near Hwy 2.
From what the traffic log stated the blue Honda Civic rear-ended a semi pulling a trailer. The driver of the Honda hit the corner of the Mansfield bar and back tire of the semi trailer causing the car to rollover. He was able to get out and was sitting next to his vehicle, bleeding from his head.
Rescue crews requested an ambulance to transport from the scene to Loma Linda Medical Center with cuts and bruises and complaining about his back.
The semi driver was not injured.
