Fatal Crash On Summit Valley Road Leaves A Female Driver Dead Thursday Morning In Hesperia

HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A woman was killed, and a man is seriously hurt after a Thursday morning crash in Hesperia.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a collision on Summit Valley Road near Trout Street, between Ranchero Rd. and Highway 138. The crash happened at about 6:19am Monday on September 22, 2022. The crash involved a white Dodge Stratus sedan and a dark gray Dodge Challenger coupe.

The white Dodge Stratus was reported to be traveling westbound on Summit Valley Rd. For reason is still under investigation, the vehicle may have lost control, hit the dark gray Dodge Challenger traveling eastbound.

When rescue workers arrived on the scene, they found the female driver of the white Dodge Stratus unresponsive, shortly after they pronounced her deceased at the scene. The driver of dark gray Dodge Challenger was a male and was transported by Mercy Air #22 helicopter near the scene to Loma Linda University Medical Center in serious condition. Neither vehicles involved had passengers at the time of the collision.
