VICTORVILLE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A man lost control of his yellow box truck vehicle and hit the center divider guardrail along Interstate 15 on early Sunday morning.
California Highway Patrol and Victorville Fire Department responded to the traffic collision involving eight vehicles. The crash took place at about 1:15am October 9, 2022 on southbound I-15 between La Mesa/Nisqualli Road and Bear Valley Rd. exits.
The driver lost control of his vehicle and made contact with the center divider guardrail before coming to a stop in the center divider and fast lane, officials said.
The driver was assessed at the scene but refused medical transport, according to VFD.
Traffic was backup due to the cleanup and the removal of the box truck. Caltrans is also out doing emergency repairs to the guardrail.
