CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A crash involving at least three vehicles on southbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass on Saturday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a collision on southbound I-15 just before the Highway 138 exit. The crash happened at about 1:07pm Saturday on December 17, 2022.
The vehicles involved in the crash were a gray/sliver Honda Civic sedan, a black Ford F-150 pickup truck, and a unknown vehicle stated on the CHP traffic log. On arrival, firefighters located the Ford pickup truck with heavy front-end damage, blocking the #1 lane.
Rescue crews requested two ambulances to the scene. Two people were transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. Other people involved had only minor injures. Lanes were reopened after about an hour and a half. Traffic was backed up all the way to Ranchero Road at one point.
