Two Injured In Motorcycle Crash, One Airlifted At Agricultural Inspection Station SB I-15

STATELINE CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Two motorcyclists were injured in a crash on Saturday morning on southbound Interstate 15 at the California Agricultural Inspection Station.

California Highway Patrol, Clark County Fire Department, and San Bernardino County Fire Department received calls of two motorcycles down in traffic lanes on southbound Interstate 15 at the Agricultural Inspection Station. The crash reportedly happened at about 10:23am Saturday, February 4, 2023.

When rescue crews arrived they requested a medical helicopter to the scene. One of the two motorcyclist was reported to have suffered major injuries with multiple lacerations and possible broken ribs. The rider was transported by Mercy Air 07 helicopter at the scene to Las Vegas University Medical Center. The other rider was reported to have minor injuries. Officers have yet to determine why both motorcyclists lost control and collided. Southbound Interstate 15 was blocked for the helicopter to land at the scene, then opened after about 30 minutes.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Office.
