Rain Causes Traffic Headaches Up And Down The Cajon Pass All Day Wednesday

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Rain-slicked roads and heavy fog up and down the Cajon Pass led to multiple crashes and spin-outs that delay commuters on Interstate 15 all day Wednesday.

Traffic was backup early morning due to a two vehicle collision involving a sedan and a semi-tractor trailer that had three left lanes blocked just after Highway 138 on northbound Interstate 15 just before 3am, March 15, 2023. Traffic was backup to Cleghorn Road.

Wednesday morning drivers have to deal with light to moderate rain showers and heavy fog. Traffic was slow in the Cajon Pass at 4am in both directions.

About 3:05am a report of a rollover collision southbound I-15 at the 215 interchange.

Then on southbound I-15 at 12:54pm before Foothill Blvd a collision involving a semi and a sedan blocking the fast lane and the #2 lane.

There were more minor collisions and spinout to report and no major injuries were reported in all the incidents.

Slow down and drive according to the weather conditions. This is especially important in the Cajon Pass and on Interstate 15 where drivers can find themselves losing control very quickly if they don’t slow down.
