23-Year-Old Man Killed After Early Morning Rollover Crash On Northbound I-15 Freeway

HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A 23-year-old Hesperia man was killed after a rollover crash in Hesperia early Friday morning, California Highway Patrol officials said.

The crash happened at about 2:30am Friday March 17, 2023. The location was on northbound Interstate 15 at the Joshua Street bridge over I-15. California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the rollover crash involving a maroon Honda Civic

For reasons still under investigation, the Honda Civic veered off the freeway towards right shoulder. The Honda entered the drainage ditch collided into the concrete support beam for the Joshua Street overcrossing. This cause the car to overturn a number of times, came to rest on its roof within the shoulder of the freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol said.

Firefighters rendered aid to the driver upside down in the driver seat. Firefighters extricated the male from the vehicle but sadly the 23 year-old succumbed to their injuries sustained in the collision.

His identity has not been released publicly at this time.
