Motorcycle Rider Airlifted To Hospital With Life-Threatening Injuries After Crash On Hwy 138 Saturday Afternoon

California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Fire Department were called to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 138 near East 123rd Street about 4:05pm on Saturday June 3, 2023.

The vehicles involved in the collision were reported to be a maroon Saturn sedan and motorcycle unknown make or color.

Rescue crews requested a medical helicopter to the scene. The motorcyclist suffered critical injuries and was unconscious with CPR in progress. Hwy 138 was blocked for the helicopter to land on scene. Los Angeles County Fire Department Firehawk Helicopter 15 airlifted the rider to Antelope Valley Medical Center. (Ambien)

Three people inside the Saturn were transported by ground ambulance with minor injuries.
