Unresponsive Driver Found In The Cajon Pass By CHP Later Died At Hospital

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A male driver who was transported to Desert Valley Hospital early Sunday morning after being found unresponsive in his vehicle in the center divider of Interstate 15.

California Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle parked in the center divider just after midnight on June 4, 2023. The vehicle was located in the center divider on southbound I-15 after the Oak Hill Road exit in the Cajon Pass area. This is when a CHP officer found an adult male in the driver’s seat unresponsive. Firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the scene to preform CPR on the driver.

The driver was transported by ground ambulance to the Desert Valley Hospital were he was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.

There was no description of the make or model of the vehicle.

His identity will be withheld pending next of kin notification.
