Riverside Driver Killed has been ID from Sunday Crash on I-15 near Stoddard Wells Road in Victorville

The collision resulted in a two-vehicle crash about 3:32pm on Sunday August 20, 2023 according to the updated California Highway Patrol traffic report. The incident happened on the southbound I-15 freeway, just before the Stoddard Well Road exit.

According to updated reports, the incident involved, a white Ford F-150 pickup truck, and a dark blue Porsche Cayenne. A black Toyota Corolla and a red SUV both with damage near the scene of the collision were not involved in the fatal collision. 

For reasons still under investigation, the driver of the Porsche Cayenne was traveling at an high rate of speed, in rainy weather. He lost control, spun across all the traffic lanes, where he collided into the rear of a disabled Ford parked on the right shoulder of the freeway.

Tashfeen, the driver of the Porsche received fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger, a 32-year-old female, sustained major injuries and was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

The driver of the Ford, a 34-year-old man, and his passenger, a 32-year-old woman, were both taken to Victor Valley Hospital with minor injuries.

According to the California Highway Patrol, alcohol and or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in the collision. 

The investigation is being handled by the Victorville CHP station. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the collision is asked to call 760-241-1186.
