Two Motorcycle Riders Airlifted after a crash on Highway 247 in Lucerne Valley

LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Two people hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 247 Friday afternoon.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were on scene of a black motorcycle crash with a sedan. The crash was reported about 4:07pm on Friday September 1, 2023 on Hwy 247 at Midway Avenue.

From the CHP traffic log stated both motorcycle riders and and bike were laying down in the eastbound lanes.

Firefighters rendered aid to the injured motorcyclists. Then they requested two helicopters to transport the injured riders with unspecified injuries. Both riders were transported by Mercy Air #66 and Mercy Air #22 from the scene to Antelope Valley Medical Center. The cause of this crash is unknown at this time.
