LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Motorcycle rider killed after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 247 Saturday afternoon.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were on scene of a black motorcycle crash with a pickup truck pulling a trailer. The crash was reported about 3:45pm on Saturday September 16, 2023, on Hwy 247 at Santa Fe Fire Road.
According to a witness stated on the CHP traffic log said the white pickup truck was turning left onto Santa Fe Rd. The motorcycle rider was passing the pickup truck and collided with the truck. The rider was then thrown from the motorcycle landed onto the ground.
CHP and rescue personnel attempted life-saving measures, but the motorcyclist died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The identity of the rider is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
