3 Vehicle Crash Causes Traffic Backup on SB I-15 in Rancho Cucamonga

California Highway Patrol and Rancho Cucamonga City Fire Department responded to the traffic collision involving a silver Mitsubishi Lancer with front end damage, a maroon Dodge Durango SUV with front end damage. The third vehicle was a unknown make or model stated on the CHP traffic log. The crash took place about 12:45pm September 30, 2023, on southbound I-15 just before the Foothill Boulevard exit.

Rescue crews arrived on scene and reported no injuries to report.

Traffic was backup to the 210 freeway while two lanes were blocked for about a hour.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Rancho Cucamonga Office.
