Two Vehicle Crash Causes Traffic Backup in the Cajon Pass Monday Night

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two-vehicle crash caused some traffic issues in the Cajon Pass on northbound Interstate 15 Monday night. (Photo above is credit by Perla Uribe)

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic collision involving a white Chevrolet Cruze sedan with major rear-end damage, and a sliver Acura TL Sedan with major front end damage stated on the CHP traffic log. The crash took place about 6:56pm October 2, 2023, on northbound I-15 near the Kenwood Avenue exit.

Rescue crews arrived on scene and reported no injuries to report.

Traffic was backup to the 15/215 freeway while two lanes were blocked.

We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
