Rescue crews requested multiple medical helicopters to transport all with unknown injuries. They said, a 5 year-old child was bleeding and a male was unconscious.

Two people were flown by two Mercy Air Medevac helicopters from the crash scene to a local trauma hospital. Mercy Air Medical helicopter #7 and #21 flew them to Las Vegas University Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Traffic was halted for northbound motorists until a little after 2pm when officials opened one lane of the interstate, CHP said.
