California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to the accident. The crash happened on northbound I-15 just after the Cleghorn Road exit around 7am on November 3, 2023, according to CHP Traffic Log.
Three vehicles were involved and a tow-behind travel camping trailer. The trailer rolled on its side blocking the #2 lane and the fast lane was being pulled by a black Ford F-250 pickup truck. The other vehicle blocking the slow lane was a red Ford Explore with major front end damage. The other two vehicles were not blocking lanes, and were not reported on the CHP traffic log.
Exactly what led up to the crash is unclear at this time. At least one person was rushed by ground ambulances to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
Traffic appears to be halted for over a hour on Northbound, traffic was backup all the way to Glen Helen Parkway.
CHP are still working to determine exactly how the crash happened. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
