HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person injured after driver lost control of the truck and crashed while trying to pass at least one vehicle on Summit Valley Road early Sunday morning. (Photo of the crash above is credit by Roxanne Harper)
California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to the scene of a solo vehicle roll-over crash about 7:03pm on Sunday, November 19, 2023. The crash was located on Summit Valley Road near Telephone Canyon Road in the city of Hesperia.
The vehicle involved was reported to be a blue Ford 150 pickup truck. According to the driver of the Ford Transit Van, the pickup truck driver tried to pass me on the left in a no passing area, the truck then lost control, veered right off the road, striking the dirt embankment, and may overturned landing on its wheels.
One person from the Ford pickup truck were transported to a local hospital with injuries of non-life-threatening injuries.
