Drivers spin out of control on wet roads Saturday

CAJON PASS, CA. Pain In The Pass) >> Many drivers in Southern California spun out of control on wet roads caused by a winter storm during Saturday afternoon. (Photo above is credit by Marty Romero)

Several drivers lost control of their vehicles on the 15 freeway, from the 10 freeway up to the high desert Saturday afternoon.

One of the incidents were caught on camera by California Highway Patrol Inland Office. A sliver Honda Accord spun put and went off the right shoulder of the freeway. This incident happened about 1:16pm on southbound I-15 after Sierra Ave. No injuries were reported.

This incidents were caught on camera by Marty Romero. The solo vehicle collision happened about 2:15pm on northbound I-15 about a mile after Kenwood Ave exit. The driver of the white Chevrolet Tahoe was probably speeding on wet pavement, lost control and hit the center divider. There is no word on injuries or what caused the crash.

Some of them were able to avoid slamming into other drivers.

Officials recommend lowering your speed when it is raining. Leave twice as much space between you and the vehicle in front. Keep headlights turned on.
