California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to the crash scene on Thursday about 4:11pm February 1, 2024. The crash scene was on Highway 247 at Post Office Road.
The two vehicles involved were a red Toyota Camry and a black unknown sedan.
Rescue workers rendered aid to everybody involved. They requested one medical helicopters to transport one victim. One person was extricated and transported by Mercy Air #2 at the scene to Antelope Medical Center unknown condition. There were no initial reports on how many people were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. Sadly at least one person succumbed to their injuries sustained in the collision.
There identity will be withheld pending next of kin notification.
