CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A small brush fire burned less than a acre on Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass Sunday afternoon, according to the San Bernardino National Forest Fire Personnel. (Photo above is credit by Bernardo Alcay.)
The blaze was reported about 1:53pm on June 9, 2024, along the northbound I-15 freeway right shoulder about a mile before the Cleghorn Road exit, according to the California Highway Patrol traffic log.
CHP and the fire crews had the slow lane blocked for about an half a hour.
No injuries were reported.
The size was under a acre about a ¼ acre section burned under a fire road bridge. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
