BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Northbound Interstate 15 lanes were closed for several hours after an 18-wheeler overturned full of furniture, according to the California Highway Patrol. (Photo above is credit by Mitchell Villarreal)
The crash occurred about 7:49am on Monday June 10. The crash location was on northbound Interstate 15 just before Zzyzx Rd exit.
From the CHP Traffic Log said, the semi moved into the left lane and then suddenly swerved back, then lost control and overturned to the right side according to a preliminary crash report from the California Highway Patrol.
The trailer’s load shifted, and the semitrailer overturned onto its right side partly blocking the fast lane and fully blocking the slow lane. Furniture was spilled across all over the lanes.
The semi was carrying full load of furniture. No injuries are reported.
The roadway was fully cleared at around 2pm.
