One Killed after a Rollover Crash on Highway 138

PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> One person is killed after a rollover crash on Highway 138 involving a pickup truck on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol. (Picture above is credit by.)

CHP and San Bernardino County Fire Department received calls of a rollover crash involving two vehicles. The collision happened on eastbound Highway 138 near Sayle Road or about seven miles before I-15 freeway in Phelan. The rollover crash happened at about 9:13pm Friday, August 30, 2024.

For reasons still under investigation, a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck when the driver lost control and flipped the vehicle. This causes the vehicle to overturn a number of times, came to rest on in the eastbound lanes.

Firefighters extricated an elderly male from the vehicle but sadly succumbed to their injuries sustained in the collision.

CHP didn’t say how many people were involved in the incident or their identity has not been released publicly at this time.
