CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A driver lost control of their vehicle after striking a semi tractor-trailer, then rolled over multiple times in the Cajon Pass. (Photo above is credit by Brian Romero)
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on Northbound Interstate 15 about a mile after Kenwood Avenue exit, shortly after 6pm Tuesday October 1, 2024.
It was reported a male driver of a black Toyota Carmy 4 door sedan abruptly changed lanes clip a semi and lost control of the vehicle while speeding. The driver struck the dirt embankment and rolled over multiple times. The Toyota landed on its roof with two people inside.
The two occupants of the Toyota were initially trapped with the drivers’ feet were hanging out of the driver window. Both driver and a female passenger were able to extricate themselves from the vehicle.
