Rider Hospitalized after Motorcycle Crash in the Cajon Pass Saturday Afternoon

CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Motorcycle rider was seriously injured Saturday afternoon following a motorcycle crash in the Cajon Pass on Interstate 15.

The California Highway Patrol says the collision happened about 12:09pm on Saturday October 5, 2024, on southbound I-15 just before the Truck Escape Ramp. The two vehicles involved in the collision was reported a motorcyclist on a black street/sport bike possibly a Suzuki and a black SUV.

The rider was ejected from the bike. From the CHP traffic log stated the rider was laying in the middle of the four traffic lanes. With help of good Samaritans, they were able move the rider to the shoulder of the freeway.

Rescue crews arrived on scene, and transported the rider to a local trauma hospital in serious condition.

The vehicle that hit the motorcyclist did stop at the scene and was not injured.
