The California Highway Patrol says the accident happened on southbound Interstate 215, just before the University Parkway exit around 7:39am on February 10, 2025.

It was reported an unknown white sedan veered into the semi traveling in a different lane, both made contact. The contact caused the semi to crash into both sets of guardrails in the center divider.

As a result of the collision, both left lanes of southbound and northbound were closed to allow crews to work on the semi-truck and to off load the content in the trailer.

Just minor injuries were reported at the scene.

It wasn’t immediately determined what may have caused the crash. We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at the time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
